Rückblick

Climate change is at the heart of the global public debate and increasingly influences economic and energy policies. The EU and several European capitals have stepped up their climate targets. Denmark with its aim to save 70 percent of emissions by 2030 is ahead of everyone. But as the pressure to increase climate protection rises, the burden on citizens and companies must stay acceptable. This calls for a “just transition” on a national and global scale.

At the 3rd German-Danish Roundtable on Energy Transition experts presented and discussed

• how the energy transition will reshape geopoltics
• how Denmark and Germany plan to realise climate protection measures (“Klimaschutzplan” – “klimalov”) and the challenges they are confronted with
• and which technologies can drive the energy transition.

Guest speakers

Rund 170 Gäste hat die Handelskammer beim diesjährigen Neujahrsempfang am Kongens Nytorv begrüßt. Geschäftsführer Reiner Perau eröffnete den Empfang, gefolgt von einer Rede des Vorstandsvorsitzende Jens-Henrik Stilhoff Nicolaisen. Der deutsche Botschafter in Dänemark, Detlev Rünger, begrüßte die Gäste. Carl-Johan Dalgaard, Professor für Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Kopenhagen und Mitglied des Sachverständigenrates, gab anschließend einen Ausblick auf die zu erwartenden wirtschaftlichen Entwicklungen 2020. Beim abschließenden Networking blieb mit Snacks und Getränken Zeit für persönliche Gespräche mit den Referenten und Gästen. Ein herzlicher Dank gilt dem Hauptsponsor NJORD Law Firm.

Beim letzten Event des Jahres wurde es in der Handelskammer besinnlich – gemeinsam mit unseren Gäste stimmten wir uns beim Networking auf die Weihnachtszeit ein.

Der Gewinner des Deutsch-Dänischen Wirtschaftspreis ist RAMBØLL. Herzlichen Glückwunsch und vielen Dank für den beeindruckenden Einsatz auf dem deutschen Markt.

Die Preisverleihung fand am 14. November 2019 im Design Museum Denmark statt. Museumsdirektorin Anne Louise Sommer begrüßte im Namen des Designmuseums und Geschäftsführer Reiner Perau und Botschafter Detlev Rünger stellten die Finalisten vor, welche danach einzeln befragt wurden.

Anschließend stand Networking bei Häppchen auf dem Programm.

However, the airline industry faces some challenges. Concerns about climate change have resulted in what has become known as "Flight shame”. Less known is another change, the airline industry is undergoing: Distribution processes and structures are changing dramatically.
