IDA Energy and the German-Danish Chamber of Commerce invited you to an event on the German and the Danish Energy infrastructure and sector coupling.

Phasing out natural gas from the heating sector and reaching 100 % renewable energy is a challenge for our energy infrastructure. Solving it efficiently and fast requires sector coupling, not just between the various energy sectors as electricity, gas and heat, but also between energy and transport and even more sectors like water and waste. And it requires cooperation across borders and between companies.

At this event we learned more about the central role of district heating, how Power-to-X contributes to sector coupling, geothermal energy’s potential for sector coupling, and how a new energy infrastructure as a hydrogen pipeline can become an extra dimension on the German-Danish energy interconnection.
