Denmark is ahead of Germany, when it comes to renewable energy, especially wind power.

In order to raise the share of electricity generated by wind further and to kick-start the production of green hydrogen, the Danish government has announced the construction of two energy islands. 

Reiner Perau had a coffee with Torben Franch on 1st December at 8.30. Torben is Chief Commercial Manager of the energy islands on behalf of Energinet, Denmark’s public authority in charge of the electricity and gas net.
